My MONKEY mask!!!

I learnt that if you plan a design before you start you will have a better picture of what it's going to look like. I brought all of the things I needed, I drew a design on paper and then on my mask and followed it, I made a few changes and added things to make it look less empty. I painted it and I'm going to glue the nose, ears, flower and things for earrings. I used a dark brown for the face a lighter brown for the ears, really light brown for around the eyes and mouth, I used really dark brown and black for the nose. To make it 3D I put a nose on and ears and other things. I used a bit off an egg carton for the nose, old CDs for the ears, a flower on the forehead and old  bits off toys. My design was a picture with a few labels and some detail. I used lots of recycled things. We did the masks as part of sustainability and art, we were supposed to bring things to put on our masks that had been recycled.

  1. Hi Faith i'm Nikalai I like your mask because of the detail you put in it. It reminds me of when I was in kindergarten when we had to make masks.
